DESCRIPTION:Wessex TREC are running a TREC Judge training day on Saturday the 5th of February. It will be held in Bampton, Oxfordshire and is open to all Wessex and TREC GB members. The course format is set by TREC GB. It includes lots of student activity, PowerPoints, leader input and we shall be indoors in a warm room! There is a short test at the end which you should take if you want to become a probationary TREC judge. This is not compulsory.\nJudge Training is useful both to people who want to help and judge at TREC events and to competitors: Have you ever wondered why you got a particular score for an obstacle? Do you want to find how each type of obstacle is judged? What obstacles can only be completed in walk? What’s the difference between Neck Rein and Figure of Eight? What are the dimensions of the Footbridge, the Low Branches, the Bank? Come along on the 5th of February and find out.\nThe course runs from 10am until 4pm and costs £10.
