SUMMARY:North Farm 10:10 Competition 6th August 2022
DESCRIPTION:A 10:10 TREC is an abbreviated form of a full summer TREC, with the usual three phases. Think of doing an Arena TREC, but with its two phases in a field, not in an arena or school, and then add a short POR – so, the MA is up to 100 metres long, there are 10 PTV obstacles, and there’s a POR of about 10 kms.\nThis event is Wessex TREC’s first ever 10:10 and will celebrate the 10th anniversary of our founder member’s (Lois Eyre) transition from competitor to traceur and organiser. It will be a Novice 10:10, subdivided into Restricted Novice and Novice, the equivalent of Levels 1 and 2 respectively, with Individuals & Pairs classes in both divisions, so four small classes in total.\nNorth Farm is situated in the attractive Upper Kennet Valley within the North Wessex Downs AONB.\nThe schedule and booking form ( https://wessextrec.com/online-entries/ ) will be available from 1st July\n
