A TREC Oscar award for our Bibury Farm TREC!
Great news to discover that Bibury Farm was one of the 4 finalists in the category “Best Summer POR” at the recent TREC Oscars. The winner of this category was Poplar Park, the 2016 National Championship course, so really gratifying for our one-day TREC to be a finalist in that company!
It wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of landowner Nick, TD team of Alison and Simon, all the volunteers who judged on the phase – and of course all the TREC GB members who voted for Bibury Farm – thankyou all!
Work has already started on planning the PORs and PTVs for our two 2017 summer TRECs; our Wessex Downs TREC will be on 3rd and 4th June (when we hope to be able to offer Ls 1, 2, 2A & 3) and our Cotswold TREC (Ls 1 & 2) on 8th and 9th July. Schedules will be out later in the Spring.
