Map Club Thurs 17th October
Fox Inn, Hermitage, close to Junction 13 of M4
The Fox is a small local village pub but it has plenty of space to spread ourselves out in, and is less than 5 minutes from Junction 13 of the M4 motorway, so easy to get to. Menus will be posted in the comments below (although there is no obligation to eat.) If you wish to order food please message Sue GidDings with your order by Monday 14th Oct. Whether you are eating or not, please indicate below, so we can get an idea of the number of tables needed.
Our first ‘Map of the Season’ will be the British Championships route from Colvend, Scotland. A few Wessex members were able to get all the way up north for this, but many weren’t able to. It was a fabulous ride, with some excellent challenges for the harder levels. If you rode here, please bring your maps, and be ready to regale your fellow Treccies with tales of your derring do! However Kirsty will bring blanks and master maps for all levels.
For those who have not been before, please bring your pens, headtorches (pubs are dim places,) reading specs, compasses, and anything else you might take into the map room with you. If you are completely new, don’t panic! Just bring some pens and reading glasses if you need them, and be prepared to look at everyone else’s kit.
